Twitter owner Elon Musk says that soon the company will bring Twitter audio and video chat service. Recently, taking to the microblogging site, the eccentric SpaceX supremo shared that the feature will revolutionize social media communication.
Musk said that the feature will soon be available on the popular platform which has seen its worse than better ever since he took over the social media company. The ability to audio/video chat on Twitter will allow users to connect with others worldwide without even sharing their phone numbers. The move could potentially come in competition with popular messaging apps such as Telegram, Messenger, WhatsApp, etc.

Musk wants to release the “X” app
Not satisfied with just elevating Twitter features, Musk has shared his desire to create a multi-purpose X app with Twitter in a partnership. The project will develop a super app that will integrate messaging, payments, etc into the same platform. Twitter and X app partnership will help create a wider user base which has faced challenges in recent weeks.
For now, the idea of audio and video chat on Twitter will write a new chapter in the company’s new history as it sets on a new journey. Musk has also appointed Linda Yaccarino as its new CEO to lead the next path with peace. By offering robust privacy and security, and enhancing user experience with more features, Twitter could indeed touch new milestones as Musk hoped while taking over back in October 2022.
