One of the 2079’s biggest blockbusters Kabaddi 4: The Final Match has been released on YouTube. The production company Baasuri Films uploaded the movie on the video-sharing platform on Tuesday, Kartik 14 (Oct 31, 2023) on its official channel.
Kabaddi 4 is one of Nepal’s biggest hits of 2080 released on May 27, 2022 (Jestha 13, 2079) with 22 crore gross collection as per the Film Development Board (FDB). Since pulled off the cinema screens, the movie has been released on other electronic platforms. FDB data has it that during its theatre time, the film sold 8 lakh movie tickets. The movie had also become a victim of online piracy with clips from the movie leaked on social media.
The film was highly anticipated with many eager to see Kaji (Dayahang Rai) to finally get the love of his life. And the film lived up to the hype inside and beyond Nepal. In foreign markets, the movie raked in revenues of over Rs 10 crore. Upon its release on YouTube, the film’s director Ram Babu Gurung said that he is happy to release the movie to the internet community. The film stars Gaumaya Gurung, Buddhi Tamang, Bijay Baral, Upendra Subba, etc. in various characters. Kabaddi 4 has also been released on the Cinemaghar app.

The sequel follows the events after Kabaddi 3, where we see Kaji (Dayahang Rai) fail and frustrated after failed courtships living a solitary life as a monk. Then life takes a turn when Shani (Miruna Magar) breaks into his life. The love triangle ensues when Bam Kaji (Saugat Malla) comes into the mix.
