Coming to the battery section, the SUV comes with an 85.96 kWh lithium ternary battery pack. The company claims that the car offers a maximum range of 620 km (NEDC) on a single full charge. As per the WLTP test, the range can be slightly low but still an exceptional 520 km.
Battery and charging
Both regular and fast charging are supported. The 11 kW AC CCS Type 2 charging can juice up the car to its hundred percent in 8 hours. That’s quite a wait and suitable at night mostly. However, a 90 kW DC fast charger can charge the cells in just 1.30 hours.
ET5 gets a Single-Stage Reducer gearbox with a 3-in-1 Efficient Integration Drive System.
Safety
Most importantly, the Skywell ET5 claims a 5-star New Car Assessment Programs (CNAP) Safety Rating. The vehicle also scored 47.42 out of 48 on the ADAS test and boasted a 13.76 score on the side pillar impact test.
