Leading ride-sharing/hailing platform Pathao has changed its logo. Bringing major changes, the prominent service provider seeks to tap into more customers making itself more accommodating and approachable.
Pathao has been very innovative and active in introducing new features, safety measures, and facilities to improve customer experience through its ride-share/hail services. Now, the new logo has been introduced to broaden its scope as it intends to widen its horizon.
In the new Pathao logo, we see a curvy road stretching away which makes up Pathao’s first letter “P”. In the main theme image, The logo rests in the middle with both left and right sides having the same types of roads with Pathao taxis and two-wheelers in service. Under the letter main logo “P”, we see the word “Pathao” and below it are its taglines- #MOVING NEPAL and #HEREWITHYOU. We see a bike rider with a bag likely indicating a delivery service. Can’t we say that the dark theme refers to its consistent services given that it is stressing on solving real-life problems?
Pathao said, “Our new logo symbolizes our mission to connect real-life problems with solutions. This gives a clearer definition of our vision of, crafting the way Nepal moves through technology.”
Launched on September 24, 2018, Pathao has become Nepal’s one of the most prominent ride-sharing platforms if not the most.

Pathao new logo: Transition from just a ride service to providing solutions to real-life problems
Pathao Managing Director Asim Man Singh Basnyat said that the old Pathao logo indicated merely the ride-sharing services while the newly-introduced logo reflects the company’s motto of providing solutions to problems. The aim is to expand the range of services and provide as many services as possible. Pathao, in the last 5 years has introduced 6 services- Pathao Bike, Pathao Car Lite, Pathao Food, Pathao Bazaar, Pathao Tuktuk, and Pathao Parcel.
Recently, the company started Pathao Parcel service and wants to provide this service nationwide. There is also a plan to start the Pathao Pay service and elevate the Pathao app from a regular mobile service platform to a Super App status. The new Pathao logo has been active worldwide since October 25.
