Nepal’s prominent digital wallet Khalti has launched a digital admission system “Pravesika” for the new class 12 session. Under this offer, five lucky students who are enrolling for class 11 for the upcoming session can receive 100% scholarships at prestigious colleges inside the Kathmandu Valley.
Khalti Pravesika platform allows SEE-passed students to receive scholarships at over 50 +2 colleges in Kathmandu for one year. The user-friendly platform is a centralized system that the company says is a one-stop solution for fresh college applicants. It brings colleges and students on one common digital platform to ease off the admission process.
At the moment, Khalti Pravesika offers students over 50 +2 (NEB) colleges and is available inside Kathmandu only. However, the platform will be available for students out of the valley soon.
While the mobile wallet makes the admission process easier for students, the platform also eases the procedure for colleges such as collecting physical documents and running an entrance process.

Upon the introduction of the Pravesika platform, Khalti Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Binay Khadka said:
“Pravesika is designed to simplify and streamline the college application process for SEE-passed students, with the goal of digitizing the education sector as well. We are positive that this innovation will be a way to introduce this generation to the utilization of digital services as such. In the future, Pravesika will also be available for different levels of college entrance and admission application.”
How to apply for the class 12 program with Khalti Pravesika?
To participate in the Khalti Pravesika platform for class 12 admission, you need to follow the steps below:
- First, click here.
- On the first page, you can check out colleges available under this plan.
- To proceed, you need to log in. Sign up if you don’t have an account already.
- You can use your email address or your mobile phone number to create an account.
- Fill out the details.
- Again, enter other details if needed by the college to sit for an entrance exam.
- You will get an OTP in your SMS which you need to use to confirm your registration.
Khalti Pravesika platform allows newly passed SEE students to sit for entrance at colleges such as Nepal Mega College, Universal Modern College, and Takshashila Academy inside the valley.
