Fintech leader F1 Soft Group has appointed Soham Dhakal as its new Chief Operating Officer (COO). The company expects his arrival will help it achieve higher milestones.
The seasoned IT professional Mr. Dhakal was appointed to the position by the F1 board. Dhakal has 24 years of experience of entrepreneurship in the industry.
F1 Soft Group is a dominant company in Nepal that provides multiple financial transaction services. It develops banking apps, digital wallets, etc. for Nepali companies and bank and financial institutions. The company operates electronic payment services such as banking apps, eSewa, FonePay, etc.

Soham Dhakal has earned an illustrious career profile
Prior to joining F1 Soft Group, Mr. Soham Dhakal served at Vianet Communications as the COO. Before that, he worked at CloudFactory, Futureworks, etc. in different posts.
Initially, Mr. Dhakal started off his career at Oracle Server Corporation, the US. He served at Neolinx as its CEO for almost a decade till 2015.
He has specialized in software development for a long stretch despite landing stints in various positions. His latest office at F1 Soft Group expects his arrival to help maintain the company’s stature and even reach newer heights.
F1 Soft Group has been serving in Nepal since 2004 as a developer of digital financial services. eSewa, one of its top-tier products is Nepal’s prime mobile payment gateway with over 80% market share.
