Nepal Broadcasting Channel, the parent company of News24 TV channel is set to issue its Initial Public Offering (IPO).
The company will discuss its IPO issuance at its upcoming General Meeting on Magh 07, 2080. The meeting taking place at the company’s registered office in Kathmandu from 10: 00 AM shall approve the proposal for IPO. Check out: Mero Share Login: Apply IPO, Transfer Stocks, Calculate WACC
At its AGM, Nepal Broadcasting Channel will also discuss and pass the annual report from the Fiscal Year FY 2079/80 appoint the chief audit officer, and set the remuneration.
The company owns and operates the News24 TV channel and its online news portal.
As of late, many news media companies have ventured into issuing IPOs. Kantipur TV has applied at SEBON for its IPO while Himalayan Times has also prepared for its IPO. Nepal Republic Media is also in line for the same despite drawing flak for the move citing its poor financial status.
