Jagadish Khadka Appointed as its New eSewa CEO

Jagadish Khadka has been appointed as the new eSewa CEO (Chief Executive Officer). A seasoned Chartered Accountant, Khadka, has been selected to lead the company by the companyโ€™s board of directors.

The new CEO Mr. Khadka took the oath of office at a ceremony administered by the company Chairman Parshuram Kunwar Kshetri on September 28, the exact date he started his tenure from. ย 

eSewa is Nepalโ€™s leading digital wallet venture operating under F1 Soft Group. Regarding the appointment of Mr. Khadka as its new eSewa CEO, the parent company had to say this,

Who is the new eSewa CEO Jagadhish Khadka?

Jagadish Khadka is a chartered accountant with fintech industry experience of over 12 years. He has served in Business Management, financial planning, and management, venture building, etc. Previously, he worked as the Payment Service Director at FonePay, Nepalโ€™s largest payment service operator.

Upon taking office, the newly-appointed CEO of eSewa said, โ€œeSewa has played an immense role in reinforcing digital transactions. It is my privilege to join the company often quoted as the pioneer of digital payment service providers. I will try and expand eSewa services and facilitate the everyday life of common people and work to strengthen the company further.โ€

Mr. Khadka replaced his predecessor, Subhash Sapkota. The company sought its new incumbent after Mr. Sapkotaโ€™s resignation was accepted. The board likewise thanked its former leader for his contribution to date.

Mr. Sapkota, though not a CEO, will remain in the company as one of its board members.
