CAN Infotech 2024 has begun from February 08 (Magh 25). The prestigious tech exhibition organized by CAN Federation Nepal hosts the industry’s newest innovations and brings them to public view. The organizers say that in this exhibition, Nepali startups and innovations are getting free stalls. Find out all.
CAN Infotech 2024 (2080) is running Magh 25 – 29 (February 08-12) in Bhrikutimandap, Kathmandu. Communication Minister Rekha Sharma inaugurated the popular ICT fair amidst the graceful participation of experts and representatives from the industry from Nepal and beyond. CAN Federation says that the fair will play an uplifting role in devising necessary strategies for the ICT industry as well as in showcasing the latest technologies.
The event has 150 stalls of various ICT-related companies including fresh startups. It will run for five days.

CAN Infotech 2024 ticket prices
The CAN Infotech 2024 ticket is set at Rs 100 for the public and Rs 50 for students. It’s possible to buy tickets by eSewa. Tickets are mandatory to visit the stalls and observe the current tech affairs. It’s also the best chance to find out the potential startups in Nepal.
For six years, CAN Federation has collaborated with Lord Buddha Education Foundation to provide deserving students scholarships worth 2 crores for their ICT degrees. This year, the scholarship will be announced during the fair. CAN Infotech 2024 is sponsored by S-POWER BPE.
Kanchhi Robot unveiling
In one of the highlights of the exhibition, the CAN Infotech 2024 will see the unveiling of the Kanchhi Robot beta. It’s inspired by generative AI and is a joint creation of the Nepal Robotics Academy and CAN Federation.
Likewise, a cybersecurity help desk has been arranged under the initiation of NP Short and CSRI. According to the CAN Federation Nepal Chairman Ranjeet Poddar, the CAN Infotech 2024 makes space for branding, ICT accessories product launch, CIT career counseling, startup and innovation pavilion, software pavilion, etc. He added that the exhibition will give priority to Nepali products and solutions that were researched and developed within the country.
“This event is the perfect opportunity for CAN members to come and present their innovative products and services to a wide range of potential customers. In addition, this event will also provide a great platform for networking and collaboration between different IT professionals and organizations,” Poddar said.
