Logistics company Upaya is expanding its logistics warehouse business by building a 3PL warehouse worth Rs 1.20 billion. According to the company, the warehouse will be built in Banepa Municipality, ward no. 13, Kavre, which will stretch across 18 ropani of land.
For the construction of this mega warehouse, the company has secured a loan of Rs 95 crore from Citizens Bank and Machhapuchchhre Bank. The remaining funds will be generated from the Dolma Impact Fund II and other investors.

Large-scale uses of Upaya warehouse in Kavre
According to Upaya Co-founder and Managing Director Suman Rayamajhi, the 3PL warehouse in Kavre will be used to store its inventory, manage deposits, billing, distribution, transportation of goods, etc. The company plans to streamline its logistics business and provide customers with scalable solutions.
The company will store food, clothing, shoes, auto parts, electronics, and other items at the advanced warehouse. The facility is expected to control Upaya’s expenses on travel.
The Upaya warehouse in Kavre will be earthquake-resistant. It will have enough racks to store products, and store rooms will be made as demanded by clients. Additionally, the warehouse will have waste management and water harvesting systems.

The company plans to start construction of the warehouse in April 2025 and complete it at the end of 2026.
