Interior
Tata Punch EV interior is emphasized with its two 10.5-inch screens. One is fitted before the steering wheel. It’s a touchscreen display that feeds information on range, navigation, battery, etc. The infotainment system of the same size by Harman rests at the center. It supports Android Auto car play and can display a 360-degree view.
Coming to the seating, the Tata Punch EV is a 5-seater with ventilated front seats and leatherette covers. But you must make do with the non-ventilated rear seats. Likewise, unlike other pricey EVs, there are no charging ports for passengers too. It’s because the Tata Punch EV is an affordable SUV.

The Tata Punch EV comes in two variants- Standard Range and Long Range. The Standard Range model comes with an electric motor of 60 kW which produces a maximum power of 81 PS and a maximum torque of 114 Nm. It can reach 0-100 kmph in 13.5 seconds. The company claims 315 km mileage with this model.
The Long Range model gets an electric motor of 90 kW which produces a maximum power of 122.37 PS and a maximum torque of 190 Nm. The model can reach 0-100kmph in 9.5 seconds, much faster than its vanilla model. Also, its claimed mileage is 421 km in ideal conditions. Tata Punch EV arrives with three driving modes- Eco, City, and Sport. The SUV also comes with an Air Purifier and AQI display.

Battery and Charging
The Tata Punch EV comes with either a 25 kWh (Standard Range) or a 35 kWh (Long Range) battery pack. They can be charged to 100% in 3.6 hours and 5 hours respectively with a 7.5 kW fast charger. Both are compatible with AC and DC chargers. The DC charger can juice it up 10-80% in just about 56 minutes.
Safety features
Tata Punch EV comes with 6 airbags, an anti-braking system (ABS), ESC, ESP 360-degree camera, etc. These are standard issues and make for complement and life-saving features for drivers and passengers.
