Omoda has officially introduced the Omoda 5 EV in Nepal. The electric SUV comes with the best-in-class futuristic design, power, and performance. Omoda is Chery’s subsidiary. Starting with the exterior, the Omoda 5 EV excels with a macho build and looks. If you closely notice, the front face comes with an almost X shape. The T-shaped DRL headlamps steal the show. It features 18-inch alloy wheels. The LED light runs through the trunk lid. This stylish machine measures 4400mm in length, 1830mm in width, and 1588mm in height with a kerb weight of 1381kg to 1610kg.

Interior
The Omoda 5 EV’s interior is a luxury with modern look rich features and a blend of practicality. The soft-touch material makes for a posh feel for the driver and passengers who get to enjoy a large and comfortable space inside.

Performance
The Omoda 5 EV is backed by a powerful 99 kW motor which generates maximum power of 130 PS and maximum torque of 340 Nm. Likewise, the battery pack is a 61 kWh Lithium-ion. The company claims that the Omoda 5 EV delivers a range of 430 km (WLTP) and 510 (NEDC) on a full charge. The real-life mileage could vary according to driving, road conditions, and other factors. It also features MacPherson Strut and Multi-Link Independent handle suspension.
The EV supports both AC and DC charging. The DC charging charges the vehicle to 80% in 35 minutes, a real-time saver. The 11 kW AC charger charges it fully in up to 9 hours. The SUV has a ground clearance of 180 mm that soundly fits the riding pattern on Nepali roads.
