Prabhu Bank has launched a smart audio alert device to help with the confirmation of QR code payments. The service helps both the merchants and customers with a voice confirmation upon a successful QR transaction.
The bank collaborated with FonePay to bring the innovative smart audio device which will be an alternative to SMS or email alerts which can arrive lately depending on the availability of the internet and other factors in the systems. The voice notification instantly notifies QR transactions saving time and bringing convenience to the users.
The bank said that it brought the audio notification feature to promote the idea of making digital banking services safer, more convenient, efficient, and straightforward. Also read: Use Prabhu Bank mobile banking app without data, WiFi
The audio notification will be issued on QR payments made on FonePay and Nepal Clearing House Limited’s NepalPay network.
As of late, audio notification via voice notification has become a trendy feature among the banks. NIC Asia, and Machhapuchchhre Bank have also launched the similar services in recent past. Likewise, Nepal’s tech venture Yarsa Tech has launched a similar AudiQR device while eSewa is also working on the plan.
Due to its abliity for instant QR payment confimration, the smart audio device feature is becoming prominent in Nepal.
