QR-based payment processor Nepal Pay QR has increased its user base to 3 lakh merchants. The service has thanked banks and financial institutions (BF/Is) and payment service providers (PSP) before being half a year old since inception attesting to its rising popularity. The parent company Nepal Clearing House Limited (NCHL) shared its latest milestone recently.
The company says attaining such a large client base in a short span promotes its acceptance among the clients.
Nepal Pay is an interoperable Nepal-QR standard payment processor under the National Payment Switch project. It can also work on the merchant or network level to facilitate easier digital payment.
To acquire Nepal Pay payment service, merchants need to contact their payment service provider (PSP) or banks, or financial institutions.

Nepal Pay QR merchants growing
Merchants can initiate the payment through a QR stands hardware or integrate a dynamic QR into their billing. In addition, it is also available for integration with online marketplace portals or Android POS.
So far, Nepal Pay service is available through Everest Bank, Kumari Bank, Laxmi Bank, Mega Bank, NMB Bank, etc.
At the moment, Nepal Pay QR is available through digital wallets, mobile banking apps, Connect IPS app, etc. for easy mobile payment.

The mobile banking apps Mega Bank, NIC Asia Bank, Sunrise Bank, Kamana Bikas Bank, etc., digital wallets and Connect IPS provide Nepal Pay QR for electronic payment.
