From now on, domestic and foreign tourists can buy tickets online. Tourist Bus Association of Nepal (TBAN) has launched a mobile app called “Tourist Bus Nepal” which lets tourists book their bus tickets electronically on their smartphones.
The service would bring a remarkable convenience to the tourists who are in need of a bus transport service. Prior to this, tourists had to resort to various online platforms to book bus tickets due to the absence of a common mobile app. Now, the TBAN’s mobile app could become a one-stop destination for booking bus tickets online.
TBAN Chairman Krishna Acharya said that the Tourist Bus Nepal has been launched with an objective to facilitate tourists buying bus tickets online. He added that the app will rid the tourists of having to seek other online platforms to book bus tickets.

Buy tourist bus tickets online
“We have launched this app to make it easier for domestic and foreign tourists to purchase tickets,” he said, “With the app, tourists can reserve their bus tickets, and seat numbers, to various destinations they are travelling to.”
Currently, TBAN operates buses from Kathmandu to Pokhara, Sauraha, Lumbini, and Janakpur, and from Pokhara to Lumbini, and Sauraha. In total, a hundred tourist busses provide transport services for both internal and foreign tourists.
The company is likewise, making plans to start new travel destinations for its buses. From Ashoj, the company will run its tourist bus service from Pokhara to Muktinath. Also read: Free Electric Shuttle Bus Service at TIA has begun
TBAN busses operate from Sohrakhutte in Kathmandu, due to the lack of a separate bus park for tourist buses.
