Tribhuvan University (TU) will soon start providing students their transcripts from the online portal from Magh 15, 2080. For this, the institution has developed a system on its website.
When the portal launches effectively, students at TU or from any colleges affiliated with it can process and get their transcripts online. Along with transcripts, students will be able to get other credentials over the Internet as well.
A meeting of the TU Office of the Controller of Examinations on Tuesday, January 16 decided that services provided from Balkhu and other regional offices will also be provided online.

TU to provide students with transcript, correction, re-total, etc. services online
Besides transcripts, TU will also provide students with their provisional certificates, re-total, correction, and other important academy-related services online.
The website will launch with an e-payment option. All the related information about this online feature will be available on the TU Office of the Controller of Examinations on Magh 10.
As of now, students of TU and its affiliated campuses across Nepal have to visit their institutions or TU physically to obtain their academic credentials. The online system though could break away the inconvenient practice and bring ease and comfort to the hundreds of thousands of students from across the country.

The idea of such a system has been in circulation for a couple of years. However, the office said that the idea didn’t materialize due to the lack of manpower. Let’s hope the news does come true and the system operates as effectively as it could. TU will update with additional information here.
At the same time, do also share your opinion on this development. Is it going to be a blessing for students living in remote parts of Nepal or do you doubt its implementation? We would love to hear how you perceive the digital shift TU is promising.
