Pritam Rai from Sikkim won the “Mero Voice Universe” singing competition whose grande finale was held on Friday at Sunrise Conference Hall on August 19 in Godawari. Rai also bagged Rs 1 crore in cash prize which is the highest for any reality show competition in the country.
Likewise, Shishir Thatal stood as the first runner-up. He received Rs 30 lakh in cash prize. Sarad Humagai and Paresh Rai became second and third runners-up bagging Rs 20 lakh and Rs 5.20 lakh respectively.
Khusi Karki won the Mero Dance Universe title also winning Rs 1 crore in cash prize.

The country’s history-making singing reality shows were attended by other popular figures too. Among the attendees were actor Dilip Rayamajhi, and house speaker Dev Raj Ghimire among others.
Mero Voice and Mero Dance Universe is Nepal’s first-ever international singing reality show organized by the Intra-National Welfare and Support Foundation of America to promote Nepali culture around the globe. The competition was announced back in December 2022 calling for applications from interested candidates from any country.
