Nabil Bank’s revolutionary online banking platform, nBank, has surpassed its three-year mark in service. The app serving as the redesigned mobile banking app substitute provides a wide range of services online, which mimics a neobank platform.
The bank launched nBank on December 22, 2022, with a neo-bank service in mind, and although it’s not called so officially, it surely is in terms of its number of services. Customers can open a new bank account, deposit, apply for a loan, and avail themselves of many services offered by the bank. Also, video KYC (VKYC) is available 24×7 which allows Nepalese working abroad to open a new bank account remotely. In essence, nBank of Nabil Bank has been nothing short of revolutionary.
The app also allows customers to send amounts between $100 to $5,000 to any bank account in Nepal in real time Nepali citizens living abroad or anyone with a Visa or Mastercard.
The bank has also established nBank web to provide digital banking services.
nBank evolving into a super app
Nabil Bank has envisioned nBank as a ‘super app’ rather than limiting it to mere basic banking services. There’s also a ‘marketplace’ within the app, which customers can use platforms like Daraz and other online shopping sites, and also access food delivery, bus tickets, voting services, etc.
Additionally, Nabil Bank provides Nimbuzz eSIM service for foreign travel to ensure they stay connected during their trip outside the country. The service allows customers to buy an e-SIM while staying in Nepal and immediately use the network of the same country upon reaching abroad.

The bank also enables users to apply for an international driving license, pay credit card bills by adding a card, view statements, and reset card PIN from mobile, which is also available on the nBank app.
To make its customer service more effective, the bank has provided 24-hour customer service through call, email, WhatsApp, and Viber for a long time. The bank plans to add new features in the coming days to make the N Bank app more convenient and secure, and to provide a new experience for customers in use.
