Nepal’s PUBG Esports team DRS Gaming secured the 2nd spot at PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC) 2022 held on Saturday, January 7, 2023, in Indonesia. The team won a $200k cash prize which amounts to around Rs 2.64 crore in Nepali currency.
DRS Gaming registered a total of 158 points in 18 games at the flagship tournament showing steady consistency throughout the competition. The team bagged 2 chicken dinners and 70 eliminations. In the grand finals, the team lost to the Turkish team S2G Esports which topped with 190 points and 93 eliminations. The winning team S2G bagged $400K (Rs 5.30 crore) in prize money.
Likewise, the Brazillian team, Alpha 7 Esports came second runner-up. It won $120K (Rs 1.59 crore).

Another Nepali team Train to Kill managed the 13th position with 112 points and earned $22.5k (Rs 30 lakhs).
