Sanima Bank has started the bank teller QR service. The bank brought the service in line with providing customers with a more efficient and digitalized banking experience.
The bank brought its inter-bank service in cooperation with Fonepay. Under this service, customers can withdraw money from any branch of Sanima Bank using the mobile banking app of other banks and financial institutions affiliated with the Fonepay network.

Sanima Bank’s inter-bank teller QR service for financial inclusion
The inter-bank teller QR service of Sanima Bank will promote financial inclusion in remote and rural parts of Nepal urgently. In areas where ATM outlets are very thin in numbers, customers can avail of this service to withdraw an amount from any Sanima Bank branch.
It will also be useful for paying other service fees and FCE exchanges.
In recent years, digital banking services have grown, including inter-bank transactions. As a result, more people are now banked. It’s also a fact that banking services have reached 753 local levels across Nepal, but it’s still not within the reach of people living in underserved areas. Digital banking services can help address such a scenario.
