The new Nepal Telecom (NTC) prepaid SIM card will bring a host of improved benefits such as data pack, talk time, SMS, and more. Also called free resources, these increased benefits will come for users on “First Call Activation” on a new SIM card. At the same time, the company says that students from classes 8 to 10 will also be eligible for these SIM cards. Find out all the details:

If you buy a new NTC prepaid SIM card, you will get more data, voice talk time, and SMS than before. As of now, the company is providing 300 MB of data, 40 minutes of talk time, and 20 SMS. From now on, you will get 1 GB of data, 100 minutes of voice call, and 100 SMS. You get all these Free Resources with a new NTC prepaid SIM card that costs Rs 90 and will be valid for 30 days. You get Rs 10 in your new SIM card just as before.

NTC SIM card for students of classes 8, 9, and 10
So far, NTC has been providing a new prepaid SIM card to SEE graduates. However, the company has revised its plan and says that students from class 8 will be eligible for its SIM cards. For students to get a new NTC prepaid SIM card, they need to submit their parents’ citizenship and ID card issued by their respective school. Students will have to pay Rs 90 for an NTC SIM card.
Nepal Telecom says that students who buy a new NTC prepaid SIM card will get 1 GB of data, on-net 100 minutes of voice calls, and on-net 100 SMS. This SIM card will come with Rs 10 in the main balance.

Data bonus for NTC prepaid SIM card users
The company has made various bonus data packs available for its new prepaid SIM card buyers. These data bonuses are available to users who perform recharge via MPoS and physical recharge cards.
Data bonus on MPoS recharge
Upon recharge of Rs 100 to Rs 199, you will get 1 GB of data for a day. For an MPoS recharge of amount Rs 200 to Rs 499, you will get 2 GB of data letting you use 1 GB per day. Likewise, if your recharge amount is Rs 500 or above, you get 8 GB of data to use for 4 days with 2 GB available for each day.

Similarly, if you recharge your NTC prepaid SIM with Rs 500 or Rs 1,000, you get 8 GB of mobile data with 2 GB per day for 4 days.
