Leading commercial bank NIC Asia Bank is celebrating its 26th anniversary as it enters its 27th year of service in Nepal. On the occasion, the bank said that in its 26 years of service, it has become the number one choice for all customers and commits to more customer-friendly and digital banking services in the coming years. The bank was established on Shrawan 05, 2055 BS.
On the occasion, the bank said, “NIC Asia was launched with the determination to become the first choice for all stakeholders. As a result of cordial companionship, the bank is going to celebrate its 26th anniversary by becoming the most convenient, strong, dynamic, reliable, and responsive bank in the country.”
Likewise, the bank’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Roshan Kumar Neupane said that the bank will continue to serve staying true to its “Bank Pani Sathi Pani, Ramro Pani Hamro Pani” slogan. He continued, “In coming days, we strive to provide more reliable, modern, technology and customer-friendly services.”
Neupane also thanked the customers, regulatory bodies, shareholders, staff, and all the stakeholders who have been key in its successful journey over the years.

NIC Asia Bank is one of the forefront banks in launching digital banking services in Nepal. Among the highlights, the bank has introduced its own payment switch, Fone Loan, etc. You can also use a cash machine or cash recycler which has brought other convenience for the bank’s customers.
NIC Asia Bank was established on 1998 July 21 and completed a merger with Bank of Asia on 2013 June 30, the first major merger of the two leading banks in the country. Currently, the bank services 360 branches, 556 ATMs, 11 extended counters, and 65 branchless services.
The bank has also received international recognition. In 2013, NIC Asia Bank was presented with “the “Bank of the Year 2013 Nepal” award from the British Magazine The Banker, Financial Times, UK.
