Mypay and FonePay have started collaboration bringing another option of digital payment for the new digital wallet users. The cooperation means Mypay has officially joined the network of Fonepay which allows Mypay users to scan & pay with the FonePay scanner for products or services.
Users of Mypay now can pay at over 11 lakhs merchant outlets using Fonepay’s QR.
Mypay is a new digital wallet in Nepal while FonePay is a payment system operator.

Mypay and Fonepay begin the formal partnership
FonePay Chief Executive Officer (CEO) said that he was delighted to have the entry of Mypay digital wallet into FonePay’s network. Similarly, expressing his delight Mypay CEO Manoj Mehta said that the integration of FonePay’s QR will help its users with more payment options.
After the official collaboration between the two, Mypay said, “It is our pleasure to announce that Fonepay and MyPay have now successfully integrated, allowing for a seamless and secure transaction experience for our valued customers. We are confident that this integration will bring great convenience to all our users, and we are grateful to all those who have worked tirelessly to make this possible.”
Mypay is a new digital wallet company in Nepal that launched in 2021. The company says its mobile wallet service is a result of its decade-long learning and testing. It has the goal to help the country with a cashless economy. It offers insurance of up to Rs 1 lakh for every 1000 transactions.

Users can pay their bills by using the Mypay smartphone app or its website.
FonePay is Nepal’s largest PSO licensed by Nepal Rastra Bank. It is the first Non-card based PSO in the country to land a PCI DSS certification. The interoperable network of FonePay helps merchants and customers make easy payments through the QR scan.
