Machhapuchchhre Bank launches Video KYC service

Nepalโ€™s prominent commercial bank Machhapuchchhre Bank (MBL) has started a Video KYC service with the objective of providing a straightforward and convenient facility for its customers to update their KYC. This unique and innovative service enables the customers to update their KYC over a video hence video KYC or VKYC.

With the launch of this service, MBLC customers can finalize their KYC online. Besides, new customers can create MBL accounts online and process other banking services through their verification with VKYC.

This is especially helpful to those who are distant from the bank or somehow are unable to visit the bank. Without physically appearing at the bank, customers can fill out necessary forms and create a new account at their convenience given they have an active internet connection and a device. Digital banking has pervaded the theme in Nepal among banks and financial institutions (BF/Is) and VKYC is one of the trends as of late.
