Nepal’s leading online marketplace has brought a “Buy Now, Pay Later” feature “HamroBNPL” which enables customers to purchase and pay in installments. The new facility has been launched in collaboration with Foneloan, a prominent digital lending platform.
The feature allows buyers to pay in equal monthly installments (EMI) for products they buy. To facilitate this service, a portal foneloan.hamrobazar.com needs to be used to buy products and pay in installments.
HamroBNPL EMI payment payment scheme
The unique Buy Now, Pay Later aka HamroBNPL provides customers Interest Fee EMI for 6 months and Standard EMI for 9 to 12 months with 0 downpayment clause. The facility has been launched just ahead of the Dashain festival so, it’s strategically a fitting time for both the companies involved and the Nepalese eager for shopping this festival season.

Follow the steps below to use Buy Now, Pay Later facility in Hamrobazar:
- Visit foneloan.hamrobazar.com
- Choose your products
- Now, log in to your mobile banking app and Scan the QR code on the product you have chosen
- Choose your installment option
- Confirm your order and get it home-delivered
The HamroBNPL section on Hamrobazar.com boasts over 250 products from the likes of Samsung Z Flip6 to the OnePlus 12 5G and other popular electronic items. You can also choose home appliances, electronics accessories, helmets, and other products from popular brands.
On the launch of the feature launch, Foneloan CEO Sagar Sharma shared, “HamroBNPL is more than just a payment option—it’s a game-changer for the way Nepali consumers interact with e-commerce. By collaborating with Hamrobazar, we’re offering our users the financial flexibility they need to make meaningful purchases without the pressure of immediate full payment. Eligibility
For the time being, the HamroBNPL feature is available to Foneloan users of Kumari Bank Ltd, Nepal Investment Mega Bank Ltd., Laxmi Sunrise Bank Ltd., and Agricultural Development Bank Ltd. The facility is accessible from the respective banks’ mobile banking apps. With more member banks signing up for it, the service will likely be available to more mobile banking users of the concerned banks.
