Two cinema halls Durbar Cinemax and One Cinemas have come into operation. The two advanced cinemas started their reel life with the Nepali New Year 2079 BS.
Both the cinemas are situated in Kathmandu. Durbar Cinmemax lies in Durbarmar, while One Cinemas lies in Kalimati.
Both cinemas have begun showing movies with the start of the new Nepali year.
Durbar Cinemax is part of the Guna Group, a popular conglomerate in Nepal. The newly opened theatre has brought two halls into operation with 52 and 53 seating capacity. “The halls are equipped with advanced facilities and services”, says Dipras Shakya, MD of Durbar Cinemax.
The halls have modern sound systems and screens and for food, the cinema-goers will get healthy snacks as per their order. There is also the service of a bar.

4K projection and DOLBY sound system
One Cinemas meanwhile, can accommodate 300 viewers, the chief Prajwal Rana said. It is conveniently located on the fourth floor of the Kalimati Trade Center. It seeks to offer an elevated cinema experience for the Nepali audience with the theme “There is a difference”.
It has a 4K Sony digital projection and clear DOLBY Surround Sound 7.1 for a heightened audiovisual extravaganza.
One Cinemas have also partnered with multiple digital wallets to allow users to pay for tickets online. You can use IME Pay, eSewa, Khalti, and FonePay for transactions.

Both halls will continuously serve Hollywood, Bollywood, and Kollywood movies. For now, they both started their reel life with Eh Mero Hajur 4, and the South Indian flick KGF Chapter 2.
