Wireless POS payment now possbile with automated technology

Now, it’s possible to perform wireless digital transactions on POS machines. That’s because IMS Software has launched an automated POS machine in cooperation with Himalayan Bank Limited.

The automation technology enables customers to pay without processing their cards with the help of a person at the billing counters at malls or stores. Santosh Tamrakar, Managing Director of IME Software, said that the innovative technology helps with the transaction by displaying the payment amount on POS machines. Previously, the amount to be paid had to be entered manually by the cashier.

The automated payment system will eliminate errors that can take place with manual handling of the billing. Tamrakar also added that the new system removes the need to enter payment details manually on the software. Now, the payment details will be updated automatically in the software. It’s kind of an overhaul of the payment system with wireless convenience.
