The Election Commission of Nepal, the government authority responsible for all the tasks related to the elections has opened online voter pre-registration. The online system allows Nepali citizens to register their names in the voting system making them eligible to vote in the elections.
The prime benefit? Suppose you are living out of your permanent residency meaning the place away from the one mentioned as your permanent address in your citizenship. In that case, you can still pre-register your name in the voting system by uploading your documents.
