How to take Traffic Awareness Class on Nagarik App

The traffic awareness class has become available on Nagarik App. The facility removes the need to attend physical classes for traffic rule violators.

The online traffic rule awareness class system was inaugurated by the current home minister, Ramesh Lekhak. Addressing the event, he said that the online platform will now eliminate the need to visit the traffic office for the classes.

So far, traffic rule violators have had to visit the respective traffic offices to receive awareness on traffic rules when they were processed for violation. Lekhak added that the online facility is a new dimension to the technological use for the Nepal Police.

According to the Vehicle and Transport Management Act 2049, drink and drive, driving at high speeds, crossing lanes, red light, etc., require visiting the traffic police to attend a class regarding traffic rules.
