HIMB Plus is the new smart mobile banking app of Himalayan Bank Limited. The app offers a fresh user experience defined by user-friendly UI design, easy navigation, and features. Most of all, it works.
The bank launched the HIMB Plus live on app stores after a protracted issue that plagued its services for weeks. Himalayan Bank’s service was disrupted well beyond two weeks during its system upgrade works. Gradually, all of its services returned, but it chose a new path for the mobile banking app.
Mobile banking is a popular digital banking service and the most accessible for nearly all the bank’s customers. It’s the same in the Himalayan Bank’s case, too. So, having a new app does help calm things down for customers who haven’t been too satisfied with the recent mishap.
HIMB Plus UI and Features
HIMB Plus carries a lightweight and user-friendly UI. Its use of soft and neat colors makes it comfortable and easy to use. The loading page itself is remarkably cool and artistic, showing the Everest in the background. Cool stuff!

The subsequent screen loads for a login. If you are a new user, then you can tap on Can’t Sign In to sort the issue out. To avoid having to enter the same details every time you open the app, just check Remember Me. HIMB Plus Features
HIMB Plus mobile banking app provides similar features to the previous HI-MB app. You can transfer funds between the accounts of the same bank, to another bank, manage cheques, request a fixed deposit, pay utility bills, etc. You can also see your balance statement, check transfer activities, and dispute transactions on the go, among other services.

Conclusion: HIMB Plus is good, and there might be more
In a gist, the HIMB Plus app looks good and promising. At least, it does what it’s supposed to. Basic services are as smooth as they should be. But going ahead, we expect the bank to add more services and optimize its feel and features. I am not complaining here, though. But honestly speaking, the bank has just come off a wretched time with its service outage. Therefore, it cannot afford to see that happen again.
For now, HIMB Plus is serving to be a good effort for customers after keeping them out of service for weeks. The system upgrade did bring the app that directly benefits potentially all the bank’s customers.
