Nepal’s popular navigation platform, Galli Maps, will help voters find the polling station (Voting center) on its app. The company has launched a ‘Voting Center Navigation Feature’ in cooperation with the Communication Minister and Lalitpur Metropolitan City to help people find their poll stations for the upcoming elections on Falgun 21, 2082.
The polling station location finder feature of Galli Maps was launched at a special event in Patan Durbar Area.
Galli Maps app helps you find your polling station
Galli Maps show voters their polling station in two different ways. These are through
- Voter-ID-based navigation system: It allows you to find the exact location of your voting center based on your voter ID card details. Then, after, you get the route to reach it.
- Administrative selection-based navigation: In this method, you need to enter your province, district, local level, and ward to find the polling station. Then, you can find the location of your polling station on the app.

The chief guest of the program, Communication Minister Jagdish Kharel, inaugurated the feature on a smartphone. In his address, he praised the innovative thinking and said that the technology makes the election process more effective. He mentioned that this feature has further strengthened the national concept of ‘Most Informed Election’.
Mayor of Lalitpur Metropolitan City Chiribabu Maharjan also recalled collaboration with the navigation platform. He said that the contribution made by the platform at the local level is commendable. He expressed his belief that the use of technology will make the election more organized and citizen-friendly. The mayor then called on all citizens to exercise their right to vote in the upcoming elections.
Likewise, Raj Bikram Maharjan, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Galli Maps, said that he was proud to contribute to a process of national importance. He clarified that the goal is to ensure many citizens can easily find their polling stations for the Falgun 21 elections.
