- FonePay gets ISO 27001:2013 for high-quality services

Nepal’s leading payment processor Fonepay Payment Services Limited has received ISO 27001:2013 certification.
FonePay received the ISO (Information Security Management) 27001:2013 certification for providing high-quality services to customers. This recognition also assures that all the transactions made through FonePay are secure and the company gives a high priority to protecting the data of its customers, the company’s CEO Diwas Sapkota said.
“FonePay dedicates itself to the customers ensuring that they can perform their transactions securely. For that, our company has continuously invested in the infrastructure. In coming days too, we will constantly strive to focus on customers’ security and help them make their life easier with digital payments,” he added.
For secure payment, FonePay has received a Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard certificate before.
FonePay is an interoperable payment network. Banks and financial institutions, and digital wallets can utilize the Scan & Pay QR feature of FonePay to allow payment online. As a payment processor, FonePay holds over 90 percent market in Nepal. It has a network of 60 banks and financial institutions, and payment service providers. Over 1 crore, 40 lakh smartphone users use FonePay’s QR service to perform digital transactions.
