Everest Bank Limited has brought into operation its EBL Virtual Credit Card service on Jestha 20, 2082. Expanding on its electronic services, the bank launched its latest digital payment service for its customers.
What is Everest Bank’s virtual credit card?
The virtual credit card service of Everest Bank is a digital card that can be used for credit card services through the mobile banking app, EBL Touch 24. In clearer terms, customers of Everest Bank who also use the bank’s credit card can now obtain the same services on the bank’s mobile banking app. They don’t need to carry a physical credit card with them.
Customers of the bank who meet the minimum criteria set by the bank can use this service. The bank says that the virtual credit card service allows customers to make payments more easily for goods and services. The payment can be done by simply scanning a FonePay QR at the merchants. The EBL Virtual Credit Card comes with a limit of Rs 50,000 to Rs 500,000.

The bank says that customers using the service get a credit facility for 45 days. It has also made flexible arrangements to pay a minimum of 10% to 100% of the total outstanding amount, meeting customers’ wishes.
