Digital Sambad 4 concludes in Dhangadi, focus on digital capacity

The Digital Sambad 4 concluded in Dhangai, Far-West Province. Organized by ICT Foundation, the event titled Digital Sudurpaschim Sambad in Association with FonePay was held successfully on Baisakh 25.

Chief Minister of the province Devraj Joshi attended the event as the chief guest.   

In the digital dialogue, discussions about the digital situation between the state governments, people’s representatives, stakeholders, and representatives of government and non-government agencies were held. 2 worksheets were presented in the discussion.

Bibhushan Bista, CEO of Yong Innovation, delivers his speech as the keynote speaker at the event. He presented a working paper on the digital capability scenario of the Sudurpaschim Province.

In addition, a panel discussion was held on the digital capacity of the Far-west province.

As a speaker in the session, the Mayor of Ghodaghodi Municipality, Khadak Bahadur Rawat, member of the Policy and Planning Commission of Sudurpaschim Province, Prof. Dr. Jagat Bahadur Singh Rawal, CEO of Young Innovation Bibhushan Bista, Principal of NAST College Dhangadhi Prof. Dr. Prem Bahadur Chand and Harak Sethi, vice president of the CAN Federation, participated. The panel was facilitated by Razan Lamsal, President of ICT Foundation Nepal.

Digital Sambad in Dhangadhi follows other similar events

Prior to this event, digital samvad has already taken place in Koshi, Madhesh, and Bagmati provinces. Now, Karnali, Lumbini, and Gandaki provinces will have digital dialogue in the near future.

After the digital dialogue concludes in all seven provinces, a research-based book ‘Digital Province Scenario 2’ will be published. The book will cover the digital situation of the entire province.

After that, ‘Digital Nepal Conclave 2023’ will be held in Kathmandu on Ashar 8 and 9 as a grand program. The conclave program started last year with digital dialogue.
