What is the Yango ride-sharing service?

Yango is a new ride-sharing service in Nepal. Like others, it serves users with ride connecting the parties via its mobile app. The distinct aspect of it is that it expands services through local partners.

The platform aims to provide an efficient and affordable ride-sharing service for the public.

No commission for a year on the Yango ride-sharing app

Yango ride-sharing app won’t charge commission from riders for a year. Instead, it will provide riders with a bonus.

But making a name in Nepal’s ride-sharing market comes with a challenge for the company. It will face stiff competition from the prominent players such as Pathao and inDrive which is now officially registered in Nepal.

How does it work?

In Nepal, Yango works in cooperation with half a dozen of partners. The company provides technology and other key infrastructure to its partners to operate the service. The company says that it will invest its earning of two years for its local (Nepal) expansion.

The company earns solely through the riders’ ride-hailing service.

But the company doesn’t want to limit itself to ride-sharing. In the future, it plans to enter food delivery and other delivery services. Globally, the Dubai-based company provides delivery, maps, grocery, AI, entertainment, and other services.
