Praveen Regmi has been appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of IME Khalti. The incumbent succeeds the outgoing CEO, Binay Khadka.
From now on, Regmi will head Khalti’s key years ahead. Khalti has merged with IME and started integrated transactions. The digital wallet market is also more challenging than it was in recent years. But despite the odds, Khalti continues to remain a prominent mobile wallet. And the new CEO now takes on diverse challenges and opportunities.
The board of directors meeting on November 17 appointed Regmi as the CEO for the next four years. Before this, he was serving as the CEO of IME Digital Solutions before the Khalti and IME Pay merger. Afterwards, he was a board member of IME Khalti. Khadka, meanwhile, had continued serving as the CEO of the joint entity.
Regmi is expected to lead the company with transformative changes and ensure higher user experiences. At the same time, Khadka has expressed gratitude for the support, trust, and cooperation he received during his tenure as the CEO of Khalti.
