Kathmandu University has soft-launched its app- KU Connect. The app will disseminate important information to the users relating to educational and administrative updates.
The Vice-Chancellor of Kathmandu University. Mr. Achyut Prasad Wagle also announced the inauguration of an IT Center. “The Information Technology Center has been established with a long-term vision to promote research, innovation, and digital sustainability in Nepal,” he said. “The center will operate a supercomputing cluster for complex research, implement national AI policies, develop research and ethical frameworks using local data, and develop decision support systems in emergency situations such as earthquakes, epidemics, and floods.”
Speaking of the app, it provides services such as student profile management, instant access to information and newsletters, university news, exam results and programs, academic details and course listings, fee details and payment records, certificate and copy request services, etc. The app will integrate directly with the university and will bring convenience to issues such as room, reservation, resource management, and class schedules.

KU Connect app availability
The KU Connect app is currently available on the Google Play Store, so Android users can simply download, install, and start using it. It doesn’t seem to be uploaded to Apple’s App Store as yet. But we expect it to be made available soon.
You can use the app as a guest or log in using your email address and password. The app has a very user-friendly interface. You get the Admissions and Programs section that lets you know of admission and courses at the KU. You can also select a language to your preference.

Essentially, the app serves as a tool to connect students/users with KU’s academic activities. But the app is still in its beta phase, so it shall see major improvements and the addition of new features in the coming days.
