Digital wallet CityPay has joined the Fonepay network. The collaboration lets the digital wallet users scan the Fonepay QR and pay at merchants.
CityPay is the 10th digital wallet to have joined Fonepay’s massive QR pay network. Now, over 1.7 million (17 lakh) merchants can receive payment from the CityPay wallet directly into their accounts. The cooperation makes life easy for the mobile wallet users who go shopping and service and want to pay digitally.

CityPay announces offer on Fonepay collaboration
CityPay has announced a special festival campaign to mark its Fonepay cooperation effective between Bhadra 17 (September 2) to Kartik 17 (November 2). In this offer, transactions done during this period will be eligible for a lucky draw in which two lucky winners will earn a Samsung TV monthly.
Additionally, users will get 20 reward points on transactions over Rs 500, which can later be used as cash or a product.
Fonepay has over 60 banks and financial institutions, and all prominent digital wallets in its network. It boasts 80% of the PSO market in Nepal and remains a frontrunner in Nepal’s digital economy transformation.
