Zeekr X EV Overview
Design
The Zeekr X is a compact luxury SUV designed for modern urban living, perfect for family exploration or adventure. The front end has dual LED lights and 3D LED lights for maximum effect. The lower fender includes a wide air intake and vertical elements for additional lighting. From the side, the Zeekr X looks sleek and sleek with black pillars that give it an effective floating roof. The sculpted body is accentuated by distinct lines along the doors and fenders, highlighting its sporty and elegant design.
In terms of dimensions, it measures 4432 mm in length, 1836 mm in width, and 1566 mm in height. It comes with a wheelbase of 2750 mm. Similarly, it has a kerb weight of 1855 Kg for the RWD variant and 1960 Kg for the AWD variant.
Performance
As for the performance, the Zeekr X comes in two variants. The rear-wheel drive (RWD) model is fueled by a 200kW permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM). It delivers a maximum power of 272 bhp and 343 Nm of maximum torque. Similarly, the All-Wheel Drive (AWD) model is equipped with a dual PMSM setup that combines a 115 kW engine at the front with a 200 kW engine at the rear. It provides a total power of 428 hp and a 543 Nm maximum torque.
Both versions achieve a top speed of 190 kmph. The all-wheel-drive (AWD) variant accelerates from 0 to 100 kmph in just 3.8 seconds, in contrast the rear-wheel-drive (RWD) version takes 5.6 seconds. As for the suspension system, it has McPherson Strut at the front and Five-Link Independent setup at the rear. The EV has a five-seater configuration. There’s 235/50R19 tires on the RWD model and 245/45R20 tires on the AWD model.
Battery Life
Talking about the battery, the Zeekr X gets juiced with a 66kWh lithium battery. The RWD model offers a range of up to 440 km on the CLTC cycle. On the other hand, the AWD model offers a slightly lower range of 400 km because of the weight & power of the twin engines. It takes only 4 hours to charge through a built-in 22kW AC charger. Similarly, for fast charging, there’s 150kW DC that charges the battery from 10% to 80% in just 20 minutes.
Safety Features
Safety is a priority in the Zeekr X, featuring multiple airbags, ultrasonic radar units and vehicle assistance systems to enhance driver and passenger protection. The suspension system consists of MacPherson struts at the front and a five-link independent system at the rear, which contributes to a smooth and stable ride.
