The car is launched in Nepal via Chaudhary Group (CG) which has been aggressively expanding its portfolio of EV businesses in recent months. Design
The Dayun Yuehu EV boasts strong appeal with its modern design. The car comes in a rounded form factor and carries daytime running lights (DRL) which gives it decent visibility even during the day. Aluminum alloy wheels and high brake lights offer it a very trendy look in the front. The car comes with a high-strength steel build cage body and offers a front and rear MacPherson independent suspension system.

Dayun Yuehu is powered by a 35 kW Permanent magnet synchronization (PMSM) motor which produces a maximum of 48 PS of power and 105 Nm of torque. The cat can hit a maximum top speed of 100 kmph.
Battery and charging
The compact sub-SUV features a 30.66 kWh Ternary lithium battery which supports fast charging. The car charges from 20% to up to 80% in 54 minutes while the AC takes 8 hours to charge the vehicle to the same extent. The company claims that the car provides a range (CLTC) of 300 km.
What is also interesting about the battery is that it uses a liquid-cooling system to stay under normal temperature. A lot of EV buyers have concerns with battery health and assurance of its operations, the liquid-cooling could alleviate those early concerns we notice for the eco-friendly vehicles.
Safety
Dayun Yuehu comes with dual airbags, tire pressure monitoring function (TPMS), Hill Start Assist Control, parking radar, cruise control, and seatbelt fastened reminder and also includes ISOFX child seat interface, ABS, EBD/CBC, etc. Likewise, with an electronic fence on board, when the car runs beyond the designated area, an alarm is sent to track the car.
