The company conducted P2 test rides through areas with difficult road and riding conditions. These included pockets in Waling, Bharatpur, Kathmandu, Jiri, Mulkot, Katari, etc. Earlier, Yatri had secured temporary registration number plate for P2 which was utilized for these trial run.

As the company said, it tested the electric scooter riding up to 400 km per day to analyze its endurance, performance level, and comfort for the rider.

Yatri has launched Project 0 and Project 1, both motorbikes inspired by café racer lineups. It’s now geared up for an electric scooter in collaboration with Sipradi.

When will the Yatri electric scooter launch?

Yatri says that its electric scooter, possibly P2, will launch soon, maybe later in 2026. It has emphatically said that “P2 isn’t being prepared for launch and is forged for Nepal,” highlighting its suitability for Nepal.
