MG S6 EV Launching Soon in Nepal| Price & Specs

MG is expanding its electric lineup in Nepal with the upcoming MG S6 EV, a large and well-equipped electric SUV. At first glance, the S6 EV feels like a scaled-up evolution rather than a radical departure, but dig deeper, and it becomes clear that this is MG’s most complete electric SUV yet. Paramount Motors is the official distributor of MG Motors in Nepal. The EV arrives with a long WLTP range, premium interior, rear-wheel-drive layout, and one of the largest boots in its class. So, here in this article, we are going to discuss the detailed specifications, features, and other information on the MG S6 EV price in Nepal.

MG S6 EV Overview

Design: Familiar MG DNA

The MG S6 EV carries forward MG’s familiar design language but stretches it across a much larger and more commanding footprint. Visually, it seems like a more muscular development of the MG S5 EV, with more intricate detail and more pronounced road presence. While the projector headlamps are set lower inside thick cladding, giving the front a confident and somewhat aggressive appearance, the slim LED DRLs now take on a more arrow-like shape. The active air flaps on the changed lower grille are a major functional feature that improves aerodynamics and controls battery temperature.

In ideal circumstances, MG claims a 0.27 drag coefficient, maybe adding up to 50 kilometers of additional range. Unlike the S5 EV, the S6 EV also has a 124-liter frunk that gives practical storage for tiny goods and charging cables. In terms of dimension, the MG S6 EV measures 4708 mm in length, 1912 mm in width, and 1664 mm in height, and a kerb weight ranging from 1880 to 1908 kg. It also comes with a 2835 mm wheelbase and ground clearance of 190 mm.

From the side, the MG S6 EV obviously goes into D-segment SUV terrain even if MG presents it as a C-segment product. Riding on a longer wheelbase and traveling on 19-inch or 20-inch aero-optimized wheels that strike a balance with economy, it is considerably larger. The 190 mm ground clearance fits Nepali road conditions well without causing the SUV to seem too tall. Though some diffuser-like aspects are more decorative than practical, the full-width LED light bar and fish-fin-style tail lamps at the rear help to maintain a modern aesthetic. The vehicle underlines its focus on space, stability, and strong road presence.

Interior

Talking about the interior of the vehicle, the biggest takeaway has to be its space. MG has made good use of the longer wheelbase to produce a cabin that is airy, spacious, and actually family-friendly. The layout has a resemblance to the S5 EV, but the new MG S6 EV introduces a substantially bigger T-shaped center console that enhances accessibility and storage. It arrives with various convenient features to make your daily travel comfortable, such as deep storage bins, wireless charging, cup holders, a generously sized glove box, etc.

Though that number seems high, MG claims 30 storage spaces around the cabin, hence showing how carefully the interior has been created. Soft-touch materials give the cabin a more premium vibe by spanning the door panels and dashboard. Although still sensitive and simple to read, the 12.8-inch infotainment screen and 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster are carried over. The Heads-Up Display, a significant improvement, lessens the need for driver-carried glances at screens.

Another great asset is seat comfort. Both front seats have heating and ventilation and the leather-and-suede-styled seats seem to be supportive. The driver gets full electric adjustment, lumbar support, and memory function; back seat passengers have lots of legroom and headroom thanks to the flat floor and greater roofline. For extended vacations, this is a cabin that should be cozy even after many hours on the road.

Performance

This is where the electric vehicle stands out in Nepal’s EV market. The MG S6 EV comes powered by a 180 kW permanent magnet synchronous motor. It produces 245 PS of power and 350 Nm of torque, paired with a rear-wheel-drive setup. Similarly, this configuration allows the S6 EV to sprint from 0 to 100 kmph in just 7 seconds. The EV reaches a top speed close to 200 kmph, which is more than enough for confident highway cruising and quick overtakes.

MG S6 EV Performance

Though the Nepal-spec model could come in a slightly detuned condition, the essential character should still be present. Part of a remarkable decision is the 77 kWh NCM battery pack, particularly given MG’s recent movement toward LFP batteries. Higher energy density provided by NCM chemistry enables the S6 to reach a stated 526–530 km WLTP range. The S6 EV will rank among the longest-range electric SUVs on Nepal’s market if actual-world reach stays around that level.

Charging support is equally impressive. A 7 kW AC charger takes about 12 hours for a full charge, while DC fast charging up to 144 kW allows a 10–80% charge in just 38 minutes. It arrives in various drive modes—Normal, Eco, Sport, Snow, and Custom—along with adjustable regenerative braking levels, giving drivers flexibility based on road and driving conditions.

Safety, Ride, and Practicality

Safety is a strong point for the MG S6 EV. With seven airbags, ADAS capabilities, hill assist, TPMS, and a 360-degree camera, it has a 5-star Euro NCAP rating. Particularly given the SUV’s weight and size, a McPherson strut setup at the front and a five-link system at the back help to balance comfort and handling.

The MG S6 EV surprises in terms of utility. With the back seats folded, boot capacity at a whopping 674 liters—the highest in its anticipated sector—expands to an amazing 1910 liters. Together with the frunk, this makes the S6 EV one of the most versatile electric SUVs for families, road trips, and even light commercial use.
