Mercedes EV EQS 580 4MATIC which is assembled in India has been launched. It is the first luxury segment electric vehicle the German automaker has manufactured in the country. The EV is assembled in the company’s facility in Chakan, Pune.
It is the second edition of the EQS launched in India after the AMG EQS 53 launch. The car is a “Made in India” product and comes with a 580 km range on a full charge and an 8-year battery warranty. Find more in detail.

Mercedes-Benz EQS 580 4Matic
The Mercedes-Benz EQS 580 4Matic is built on the Electric Vehicle Architecture (EVA2). It gets an LED DRL across the width of the car, and a curved roofline. The EV is available in five exterior color choices with 20-inch wheels. Inside, there is a 56-inch single-piece MBUX Hyperscreen, that comprises three screens: a 12.3-inch driver display, 17.7-inch infotainment, and a 12.3-inch front passenger touchscreen.

Other notable features of the Mercedes EQS 580
Other features include rear-wheel steering, a panoramic sunroof, a head-up display, wireless charging for front and rear occupants, etc. For safety, the car gets nine airbags, active steering assists, and pre-safe impulse among other features.
Likewise, the EQS 580 4MATIC has a 2-year/30,000 km service interval. The company is offering an 8-year unlimited km battery warranty.
India is a growing market for EVs with many competing. The Mercedes EQS 580 will compete with other luxury cars such as Porsche Taycan EV and the Audi e-tron GT.
