BYD Dolphin EV 2025 comes equipped with the industry-first Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) Low Voltage Battery (LVB). The specialty of this battery pack is that it’s 6 times lighter than traditional batteries, and 5 times less self-discharging. BYD claims that this battery technology will replace the lithium-ion battery in the near future.

What changed?
The BYD Dolphin EV 2025 facelift comes with changed front and rear LED headlamps and tail-lights. The Build Your Dreams letters are now replaced with BYD at the rear in red. In essence, there are a few cosmetic changes in this new edition from the original BYD Dolphin EV.

There’s the same 12.8-inch rotating infotainment system but with 5G connectivity. The instrument display has been upgraded from 5 to an 8.8-inch screen.
Performance
BYD Dolphin 2025 is built on the next-generation e-platform 3.0 and ensures maximum battery safety. The car comes with the same 70kWPS motor and 180 Nm of torque. Its 44.9 kWh battery offers a range of 340km (WLTP) per full charge. BYD says that the battery can charge from 0 to 80 percent in under 30 minutes.
This blade battery is offered with either an 8-year or 1.50 lakh kilometers of warranty by the company.

The facelift BYD Dolphin EV 2025 price in Nepal is Rs 41.15 lakh. The car is now available for booking and test drive across BYD showrooms and dealer networks across the country. The car is available in three color options – Atlantis Grey, Urban Grey, and Ski White.
