Paramount Motors has launched the Comet EV 2025 model, a facelift with some improvements in hardware and charging over the 2024 model Comet EV. What’s changed in the new Comet EV 2025 model?
The facelift Comet EV 2025 features a 7kW fast charging, which can charge the vehicle from 0 to 100% in 3.5 hours. It’s also equipped with a rear parking camera and a power foldable side mirror that enhances the overall satisfaction of the vehicle owner.
It‘s a 4-seater car that, though it looks very compact on the outside, still offers decent space on the inside.
Performance
Comet EV 2025 is powered by a 17.3 kW prismatic cell lithium-ion battery. The company claims that a fully charged battery can provide a 230 km range. The cell is IP67-certified to guard against water and dust.
The mini car delivers up to 31.26 kw of power and features a maximum torque of 110 Nm. It’s powered by a Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor and an automatic transmission. For suspension, the front gets a McPherson Strut and the back a Multi-Link Coil one.
Additionally, it’s got a 10.25-inch dual screen for both infotainment and to serve as a digital instrument cluster.

The company has done a fairly good job in the car’s safety department. It comes with ABS, EBD, ISO Fixed Child Seat Anchor, dual-front airbag, etc.

The MG Comet EV 2025 price in Nepal is Rs 19.99 lakh for the Executive variant and Rs 22.74 lakh for the Excite variant. It’s available from the authorized showrooms across Nepal. Buyers get either 8 years or 1.20 lakh km warranty on the battery. Additionally, there’s also a 3-year or 1 lakh km warranty on high-voltage components.
