The eye-popping 30,511-RPM is achieved due to a combination of key features. One of them is the use of N50EH magnets, which improves performance by up to 18% while also decreasing losses by up to 44%. Next, the system uses ultra-thin silicon steel sheets or 0.2mm, which decreases iron loss. This helps achieve the next level of efficiency.
Likewise, the motor system utilizes dynamic balance accuracy within 50 mg, which far exceeds the current best industry level of 100 mg. Additionally, the improved and optimized winding design consisting of a 10-layer short-distance winding conserves copper loss by 21%.
In addition, BYD has implemented an advanced cooling system on its 1500V silicon carbide (SIC) power system for better heat dissipation management.

Which BYD cars have BYD 30,511 RPM?
BYD plans to install the 30,5111-RPM motor on its Hand L sedan and Tang L SUV cars at first. It’s kind of a surprise as these are midrange cars, however, this also sets a precedent for BYD, indicating its grandeur plans with its thriving auto business.
And the trials have delivered encouraging stats. The Han L accelerated from 0 to 100 kmph in just 2.7 seconds, while the Tang L shot from 0 to 100 kmph in 3.6 seconds.
