Tata Tiago EV has made a sales record in Nepal, leapfrogging the competitors in the growing EV market. The hatchback achieved 2,058 units of sales in Nepal.
Since its launch, it has been a popular choice in the hatchback segment. It’s well-received for its price, features, convenience, and efficiency to accommodate a family ride. It has restored the sales for compact cars that were seeing some lows in recent years.
Tata Tiago EV was first brought into Nepal in August 2023. As of now, the popular model has surpassed well over 2,000 unit sales in the country. It has left behind the likes of MG Comet EV, Wuling Binguo EV, etc. in the race.
In Nepal, the car is sold by Tata’s authorized seller, Sipradi Trading. Mero Auto reports that the company had imported 1,747 units in its first 12 months in Nepal. Then, it brought in more units targeting the festival season of Dashain and Tihar. We are strictly talking about the original Tiago EV because we also have a facelift variant in the country.
Tata Tiago EV 2025 has been launched too, with some cosmetic and machinery changes. It’s already one of the best EV cars in Nepal.
Due to the popularity of the previous model, the 2025 variant of the Tata Tiago EV is also kept unchanged. Its price starts at Rs 27.49 lakh for the XT variant. It’s safe to assume that it will continue the momentous run in Nepal.
