Huawei FusionCharge in Nepal
At first, Huawei inaugurated its FusionCharge technology in Hetauda, Nepal. The company brought it into operation via a collaboration between Gadi Charge Pvt. Ltd. and Nepal Ekrat Engineering Company Pvt. Ltd. Going forward, Huawei wants to expand this smart charging technology in up to 9 different areas across the country, installing it strategically for EV owners.
Huawei states that this technology is suitable for charging all types of vehicles, from personal vehicles to public EVs. Its chargers can withstand and operate normally in temperatures ranging from -35 degrees Celsius to 45 degrees Celsius. Likewise, it can provide power efficiency of up to 80 percent, have a lifespan of more than 10 years. It operates at a noise level of below 50 decibels.

It’s a liquid-cooled system and is isolated from electricity. Therefore, Huawei claims that each charger can have a life span of up to 10 years.
In Nepal, NEA is operating over 50 charging stations in different areas, while private companies and manufacturers have also set up their own. Huawei’s FusionCharge will further grow the ecosystem of EVs in Nepal.
