Deepal EVs will now have 11 years or 3 lakh kilometers of warranty in Nepal. This facility, launched by Deepal’s local seller, MAW Vriddhi, is the longest extended warranty in Nepal on EVs to date. The move enhances the customer appeal to Deepal electric vehicles and reflects the commitment to improve customer experiences.
MAW Vriddhi has announced that it now provides 11 years or 300,000 kilometers warranty on the battery and 11 years of 200,000 kilometers warranty on the motor for Deepal EVs in Nepal. These benefits are ensured under the sellers’ Extended Warranty scheme.
In the meantime, Changan Automobile offers 8 years or 240,00 kilometers warranty on the battery and 8 years or 150,000 kilometers warranty on the motor for Deepal vehicles.
The Extended Warranty covers warranty on High Voltage EV Components for ‘High Voltage Battery Parts’, ‘Safety and Control Components’, and ‘Manufacturing Defects. Additionally, vehicle owners also get a warranty on the critical parts of the motor system, such as the traction motor assembly.

Deepal EVs are powered by the Shield Battery developed by the world’s largest EV battery manufacturer, CATL, and feature motors made by China’s long-serving auto maker Changan.
