Redmi Note 15 Series in Nepal Overview
Design
The Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus 5G and Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G improve on the build of their predecessors, Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus 5G and Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G. The company claims that the phone can withstand a 2.5-meter drop impact through Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 and fiberglass-composite composition. This sturdiness owes to the IP66/IP68/IP69/IP69K certification with SGS-verification. The phone retains the squircle camera module and perhaps is more pronounced now.

The Redmi Note 15 5G and 4G models also feature a similar design language, but they are understandably lighter. They retain the squircle camera bar on the back, have rounded edges, and feature REDMI text at the bottom. The 5G and 4G models weigh 178 grams and 183.7 grams, respectively.
Display
Talking of the display, they carry a 6.83-inch AMOLED screen each, the largest in the series to date, with a 120 Hz refresh rate, and up to 3200 nits of peak brightness. The panel itself, as Xiaomi claims, is highly durable and rugged. It says that the phone has passed a 2-meter, 24-hour water-resistance test by TUV SUD. It’s further backed by AI Wet Touch 2.0 technology, which means you can touch and use the phone with wet hands. The panel can recognize water, oil, foam, sweat, etc., and can deliver precise sensitivity to the touch.
Redmi Note 15 5G and Redmi Note 15 4G boast a curved 6.77-inch AMOLED panel with a 120 Hz refresh rate and up to 3200 nits of peak brightness. Like the pro models, they feature a second generation of wet touch, which enables users to use the screen even in wet conditions. Both of these models also share a similar FHD+ resolution of 1080 x 2393 pixels. But while the 5G variant is IP66-certified, the 4G model is IP64-certified for protection from water splashes and dust particles.

Which model should you buy?
Since there are four models in the Redmi Note 15 Series, it can be a bit confusing as to which one you should buy. But we do provide you with suggestions.
- Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus 5G: If you want a phone with almost flagship-level specs, features, and performance. You get fast charging, a powerful processor, and quad curved display. It must also be said that you will be spending over 56 thousand rupees for this model.
- Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G: If you need a phone that almost equals the Pro+ model, but can do away with a slower fast-charging, it’s a great option, especially if you want to pay less than for the top-end model.
- Redmi Note 15 5G: You want 5G, a curved screen, great design, battery, and big resources, but without spending a huge amount, it’s the right variant for you.
- Redmi Note 15 4G: If a good phone without 5G is your preference, this one is the right phone. You still get a 6000mAh battery, a large screen, a good processor, and a display. So, you will get the signature identity of the phone without costing a huge amount.
All these phones are great improvements from the phones in the Redmi Note 14 series and pack a punch for the money you spend on them. It goes without saying that these will be some of the best phones for the entire 2026 in their price range.
On the price factor: Effect of global component price hike!
The good thing here is that they come with good enough resources in RAM and RAM. The devices are also beautifully crafted and are some of the very best in their price ranges. But the starting price has gone up even for the base 4G model.
Mr. Simon Fang, Country General Manager (CGM) of Xiaomi Nepal, maintains that the brand has maintained an aggressive price scheme in Nepal compared to other regions in South Asia. Well, that is a relief, but for users who were expecting similar pricing with the Redmi Note 14 series, their pockets will get further lighter.

Surely enough, it has to do with the global price hike on chipsets and RAM. Worse, electronic device prices are likely to get higher and more expensive throughout 2026. And we can only brace for that.
